Israel government

I find it rather ironic that throughout history of the past 50 or so years, the governments which were responsibile for returning disputed areas from Israel to Egypt and then in Gaza, were so called rightist governments. Begin and Sadat, gave the Sinai peninsula to Egypt. Ariel Sharon gave Gaza autonomy to Hamas, even with the known hostile entity Hamas in control of the area.
