I agree with everything you note about the dynamics and the fact that the WB benefits from the Hamas rockets. If Israel were permitted to (with international pressures butting out), she should let the West bank and Gaza have it out. Just like in Syria, let them tear each other apart. Because of the idiocy of the west in being so malleable, the glaring differences and hostilities between Hamas and the PA are not getting sufficient attention or fuel. They should be encouraged to interact more.
