The fogotten problem

Throughout this debate there was no reference to a major problem - the continuing basic position of the Palestinians that they will never stop trying to wipe Israel and its Jewish population off the map. It seems impossible to me to make a deal with the Palestinians as long as they freely contend that they will not give up their continuing goal of destroying Israel and killing Jews. It is a bit outrageous for Israel to be asked to agree to agree to creating sovereign nation status for a people who threaten to use that as a base for acquiring the means of wiping Israel off the map.
