I tend to agree with you now Peter. There are pleasing aspects to be seen when one looks gently. Upon further research and diligent news-sifting I must say the MEK isn't particularly admirable. I still feel odd about my encounter with them; it is hard not to like them individually. In light of the events since last I posted on these matters I find them reprehensible as a group.

I do not feel that Iran represents any real threat to the United States and so I can't support what has been happening in SW Asia. I don't like Salafists in Libya and Syria. I don't like Marxists in Iran. the fact that we arm, train,and support terrorists and extremists to sow death and destabilization in "rogue" states made me lose my faith. We arm Al-Qaeda. That is sick. Lost my taste for imperialism in the dusty plain.
