where is the propaganda dictionaryReader comment on item: Palgrave Macmillan Participates in "Israel Apartheid Week" Submitted by myth (Germany), Mar 13, 2013 at 09:23 Who would have thought that after the fall of the Berlin wall we would see the return of propaganda. The technique is this: combine at least two words with a well-defined but neutral meaning into an expression. The new expression now promotes an agenda. Usually these expressions are in conflict with what they actually describe. East Germany was undemocratic despite the acronym DDR =Deutsche Demokratische Republik. Is the Democratic People's Republic of Korea democratic, is it of the people, is it all of Korea? Justice I know, but social justice, please explain. Same goes for expressions such as "freedom of speech". Most people using it, are busy with restrictions rather than freedom. Israeli Apartheid Week is probably not hosted by Israel, probably has no one speaking Afrikaans, is not related to South African racists and maybe does not even last 7 days. Is there a propaganda dictionary somewhere on the internet? I encourage Palgrave McMillan to find and publish an author writing this dictionary. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
