Post Soviet Saddam

Saddam was an artifact of the Cold War, a Soviet agent at one time, no doubt an element in KGB world wide terror networks, a serious bad guy. After the fall of the Soviet Union he was without guidance, murderous and dangerous. His necessary removal could have been accomplished with several missiles and spared us the downward spiral which our military adventurism has spawned, We served the needs of our Saudi client which has been calling our tune for decades. If Obama kills the Keystone Pipeline it will be trumpeted as an act of green, but it will be about petrodollars not the environmental green.
