TURKEY NEEDS ISRAELReader comment on item: Erdoğan's Decade as Prime Minister of Turkey Submitted by JACQUES HADIDA (United States), Mar 27, 2013 at 17:27 I enjoyed very much reading your article and that of Ian Lesser. Indeed, Turkey will find itself it hot water for more than one reason, all mentioned well in the article and it leads me to suggest that Israel will come to its rescue when it will face graver problems. Turkey and Israel share borders with Syria and we are not out of the woods there yet and helping one another rather than be confrontational is of the essence. And since Turkey is not siding with Assad, a friend of Iran, it shares with Israel the same enemy, Iran not to mention it, so the enemy of my enemy is my friend We are in to see a lot of action in that area in the coming days BEST REGARDS JACQUES HADIDA
