Irony of Restating the ObviousReader comment on item: Erdoğan's Decade as Prime Minister of Turkey Submitted by M Tovey (United States), Sep 17, 2020 at 22:00 Here, as in several other parts of this forum, we are revisiting some old memes; that, as mused by reader Craig's observations, the more things appeared to have changed, they still have the same issues that have not really changed. Erdoğan still looks the same, his plans of Ottoman request are still his dream, now expanded to have crossed over the Med; his rhetoric only different in that he has appeared to have shed any residual reservations of his ambitions and like the old saying goes-some of us already had the clue and here we are, saying again - we told you so. Erdoğan will not stop now - his pride will not let him.
