Apology

I too was appalled by the apology. Erdogan's demand was obvious as a means of aggrandizing him and Turkey and pushing Israel into o the mud of international politics. There is little chance that Erdogan will be a friend to Israel; his position on the opposite side is obviously a better position for him as top leader of Islamists, as he most surely plans to be. While keeping as "friendly" a relationship as possible, there id no indication from Erdogan that he really wants to create real friendly relations with Israel. It seems to me that he is obviously using this apology only to bolster his own image, and not with any intent to be a neutral Peace maker with the Palestinians. It seems to me that this exchange only bolsters the Hamas and Palestinian position.
