The Apology to Turkey

It is clear that the apology by Israel to Turkey has President Obama's fingerprints all over it. The insistence of the American State Department to treat scoundrels as if we can trust them, without first getting some quid pro quo up front continues to astound me. It is sort of a delusional state of mind, where when it comes to the Muslim world this country's leaders are literally stuck in stupid. Consequently, any good outcome is fortuitous, particularly since we can always expect the Muslims to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. They are not "right in the head," as we are discovering in North Korea.
