A two-way approach to resolving the conflict...Reader comment on item: Arabs Still Want to Destroy Israel Submitted by Ivan Yeo (Singapore), Feb 25, 2005 at 07:45 I think that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict should be resolved with a two-way approach. Firstly, Israel would allow a Palestinian state to be created with basic freedom and human rights return to all Palestinians. Secondly, both sides would sign a treaty to halt all militant or military attacks on either side of the conflict. Palestinian militant groups such as Hamas and the Islamic Jihad should also take part in the treaty and Israel should abide by the terms of the treaty. I hope that these two approaches would help end a near-century of Arab-Jew conflict in the Middle EastNote: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
