I do agree with the comments of Dr. Daniel Pipes and I wish to add that under Assad minorities like Christians, Jews, etc. will be more safe. Extremes rebels like Muslim Brotherhood and Al -Qaeda are cleansing all but themselves. If they win we will have another Islamic extremist country willing to conquer the world. Turkey will be their Ally and become very powerful and most dangerous creating the new neo-Ottoman State looking for expansion all around the area.
