Maybe it's time to deal with the Mid-EastReader comment on item: Saddam's Rap Sheet Submitted by Richard Rawlins (United States), Aug 22, 2002 at 09:34 I constantly see comment about how attacking Iraq will destabilize and ignite the entire Mid-East. Well if the region is that unstable maybe it's time to just go ahead and deal with it now. Better now than after some of these unstable states DO develop or buy WMDs and dealing with them becomes a nightmare that threatens the whole world.If we had had the courage to deal with Hitler in 1938, millions of deaths would have been averted along with the complete devastation of large parts of Europe. Maybe going ahead and tackling the mess in the Mid-East NOW rather than later is the BEST possible argument for action. Let's get the mess straightened out now while it can be done at relatively low cost in money and lives rather than wait until action is forced on us.
