America's burdenReader comment on item: Saddam's Rap Sheet Submitted by Caroline (United States), May 14, 2003 at 17:00 For those who say it's all for the oil, you are partly right. As Americans we need oil, to light and heat our houses, drive our cars, run factories that produce many of the things you hypocrites buy. The day you stop driving cars, or heating your homes, you will have your point. Don't buy the food in the grocery market either, the food has to be driven there which takes what? oil. don't send mail, because the postal service uses what?oil. So yes, oil is a huge part of our lives, like it or not. And my belief is if we have to fight to get it and mantain our way of life, well then power to us. Survival of the fittest.Anybody wants to contend with us then do it face to face like we do. We tell you we are coming. We don't secretly ram planes into buildings. And when you guys in the middle east or anywhere else in the world gets into trouble somewhere down the road, WW1 and WW2 we bailed Europe out, we have helped Kuwait, In general stood up for those that asked our help. You will yell at us if we help you, but if we were to stand back and watch, you would yell at us for not stopping it. .. Bless the USA!
