WHAT YOU ARE SAYING IS ""BETTER THE DEVIL YOU KNOW THAN THE DEVIL YOU DON'T""

However , you and I know that it is the Supreme leader Khamenei who pulls the ropes, no matter who the new leader is, he has already been anointed by him.

It seems that the actual STATUS-QUO stands and does not bother anyone until it is proven that they indeed have produced a nuclear bomb. AND THEN WHAT? Does the world know what to do? I doubt it

Iran will continue to be the world's trouble maker, IT SEEMS TO BE THEIR MODUS VIVENDI for the world to know they exist
