Iran's Election

Reader comment on item: Rooting for Jalili

Submitted by Farhad Lahafdoozi (United States), Jun 17, 2013 at 21:06

No matter who is winning the election. The matter is the Duty: to keep the regime as it is. Rouhani, now, won it and he seems Reformist to the world. The question is not the victory but the question of What kind of reform does Ayatollah Rouhani has in mind? how can you reform a vicious regime? is he free enough to talk about the political detainees who were executed so far since the revolution or the ones who are still in jail?? is he really reformist enough to talk about the mountains of economical problems which brought to people?

It is when the mullahs kept outsiders and superpowers' minds busy with the Theatre of Nuclear bomb. it is all ridiculous and the election is just a game.

best regards
