Jihad until the end of days

Greetings AAA, I appreciate your attempt to explain that Muhammad's call to fight against the "unbelievers" applied only for his time period in history. However, present-day history proves that Muslims still believe they are under the ongoing struggle (Jihad) between "dar al Islam" and "dar al Harb" (House of Islam and House of War) .

The Ahadith prove that this would be an ongoing battle that lasts to the end of days. For example: "The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: I am commanded to fight with men till they testify that there is no god but Allah, and that Muhammad is His servant and His Apostle, face our qiblah (direction of prayer), eat what we slaughter, and pray like us. When they do that, their life and property are unlawful for us except what is due to them. They will have the same rights as the Muslims have, and have the same responsibilities as the Muslims have." (Sunan Abu-Dawud, Book 14, Number 2635, Narrated Anas ibn Malik) ... and this other saying of Muhammad,

"The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: A section of my community will continue to fight for the right and overcome their opponents till the last of them fights with the Antichrist." (Sunan Abu-Dawud Book 14, Number 2478, Narrated Imran ibn Husayn)

"It has been narrated by 'Umar b. al-Khattib that he heard the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) say: I will expel the Jews and Christians from the Arabian Peninsula and will not leave any but Muslim." (Sahih Muslim Book 019, Number 4366)

So you see, AAA, the battle that Islam wages against the Jews, Christians and Unbelievers was not limited to just the 7th-century time period of Muhammad. Muslim leaders believe they are to fulfill the commands of Muhammad to plot and fight against non-Muslims until only Muslims are on earth. This command is being instilled in the hearts of young Muslims and they will be called to strike terror and wage wars as long as their are Jewish and Christian populations in the Arabian Peninsula. It sure looks like this was not limited to the 7th-century but will go on and on through the end of days....
