IMHO, Bibi is playing the Americans. By publicly backing the 2 State Solution he appears reasonable to the left wing Obama and EU administrations. The key part of Bibi's statements, seemingly ignored by all, is that any agreement must be approved by the Israeli people. As no agreement acceptable to the Israeli voter can ever be approved by any current or future Palestinian leadership, Bibi risks nothing. Yet he retains the needed good will of the 'democracy's'.
