what are the Saudis doing with all their fabulous Toys?

The U.S. has sold Saudi Arabia all those state of the art fighter jets and helicopters not to mention all the wonderful small arms they are equipped with. The same for Turkey. If they are so horrified by what is happening in Syria, then why won't they use those TOYS? or at least commit to sending in their terrifying, battle ready ground troops? On the other hand, if the U.S. does nothing, how can Israel continue to believe that it will have their back re Iran's rush to nuclear power?
