not true that 72% "wanted" warReader comment on item: Obama's Diplomatic Acrobatics Submitted by Ron Thompson (United States), Sep 14, 2013 at 23:22 72% of the people may have ACCEPTED the false and incompetent statements of the Bush administraion justifying a War of Choice that was called a War of Necesssity, but this is far from saying they "wanted" the war. They may be faulted for the 'mistake' of trusting an incompetent President, who was also, along with other unadmitted motives, compemsating for having failed to protect the country from 9/11, but that also does not mean they "wanted" the war. And finally, like this writer, one doesn't have to a "lib" to deplore that colossally botched decision, from whose effects we are still suffering in multiple ways.
