Reader comment on item: Israel's Stunning Response to Palestinian Aggression

How can there ever be peace when the Muslims themselves are so focused on killing each other? Hating and killing is so deeply engrained in their culture they have no understanding of such words as mercy, or compassion, or even love.
When one of the basic principles of Islam is the acceptance of "Lying;" How can there be "trust" to build upon for the establishment of peace, of any kind?
