Turkish imperialism and delusionsReader comment on item: The Prospect of Kurdistan Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Oct 26, 2013 at 10:27 Our dear Mozere wrote Historically the Kurds have been anti West, anti christian and Islamist. Not true the Kurds have no like for the west not because of Christianity but because they have been betrayed by the west many times and as a matter of fact many Kurds and some of their leaders are coverting to Christianity (gasp!) as I proved to our dear Servet the Turkish propagandist and here is a TV station run mainly by Kurds that converted to Christianity http://www.alfadytv.tv/ if you can read Arabic and Kurdish which I doubt very much The PKK (armed Kurdish insurgents) is a Marxist organisation which received training and arms from the USSR. You just told us that they are Islamists now they are Marxists so what really happened? Let me help you as I told our dear Servet who posts from occupied Constantinople that if your so called friends betray you as the west did to the Kurds then you will be turning to an ideology that can help your cause be it Islamism or Marxism but Kurds are realizing that these ideologies do not seem to be working either now do you get it? The Kurds were enthusiastic members of the Hamidiah troops which took part in anti Christian carnages of 1890s, they also massacred a lot of Armenians in the 1915 deportations. Sure and so were the Janissaries that were Christian boys that were abducted from their parents and converted to the religion of the Arabs only aka Islam and then they were sent back to terrorize and murder their own people and this was done with great enthusiasm in-order to prove that they are real Turks! A case of the Stockholm syndrome And this is indeed what the Kurds did and they murdered the Armenians because they wanted to prove to the Turkish barbarians that they are also real Turks but they must have realized that once the Armenians and the Greeks and the Syrians are murdered by the Turkish barbarians that they will be next right our dear Mozere? and now the Kurds outside of Turkey acknowledge that there was indeed an Armenian Genocide and that their ancestors were involved in this crime against the Armenians! Right our dear Mozere? More recently, they harrassed the Assyrian christians of Mardin district as a result of which the local christians migrated to Istanbul and abroad to Scandinavia. A Turk who is worried about humanity! Spare us this one Most of the Kurds are tribal and deeply religious and traditionalist Sunnis.Saidi Nursi ,a Kurd from Bitlis,is a strongly anti secularist anti republican and by implication an anti Western figure who is revered by many of the Islamists of Turkey. There is no doubt that the Kurds are real surviors and they have had even pacts with the devil in-order to save themselves and their nation and that Islam is really a thin patina that covers a very profound Kurdish nationalism and that this patina can be gone at the blink of an eye and many Kurds are very hostile like the Iranians to the Arabs and have no like for them and they believe that the Arabs are "desert lizards" and no more Kurdish problem in Turkey will be solved by the increasing democratisation of Turkey ( which really is happening albeit rather slowly) rather then interference by the foreign powers. The Kurds as well as the Iranians and even the Arabs and the Egyptians hate the Turks and remember their crimes against humanity and their imperialism of their lands
