Can't Israel Just Say No!? :: Reader comments at Daniel Pipes

Does Dr. Pipes believe that Prime Minister Netanyahu has the political standing to resist us pressure to release these prisoners? I don't see why Israeli PM's have ever given in to such demands. The consequence of their refusal would simply be more of the same pressure from the US, which could devolve into nothing more than background chatter while Israel sets it's own agenda for once.
