Reader comment on item: The Worrisome Future of Special Operation Forces

Your last blog offering was depressing. Yet another piece of concrete evidence of the Great American Decline. I am tempted to put the full blame on our narcissistic President. I used to say that the Narcissist was one of the worst Presidents in our history. These days I know that he is the worst President in our history. ((And as a side-note historians will cite the confusing babble of those oposing Obama. These people are good at complaining but way short on the only thing which would have mattered: impeachment.

History will condemn the Congressional leaders of the Rebublican party for not setting in motion impeachment proceedings against this narcissist. The case for impeachment and correlative removal from from office is strong. But they settled for complaining.)) I admit to having voted for this charlatan in 2008. I was not alone. And then -- without my help -- the American people re-elected the narcissist. Do you see the point? The slide of American culture into Narcissism is playing a duet with the most narcissistic of all our leaders. I sense that it is too late for our country to reverse this slide into nullity. So I ask you, Mr. Pipes: Have we already reached the "tipping point" after which the slide cannot reverse itself?
