bad exampleReader comment on item: Separation of Civilizations Submitted by Mohammed Wazir Ahkspaidar (Australia), May 29, 2014 at 02:36 "...Millions of animals and birds migrate and travel thousands miles from one place to other for proper shelter and food. But now we have people who believe in "Divide & Rule" formula like they did in India, Middle East and other places...." Human beings managed to create the beginnings of ordered society when they learnt to STOP migrating. As ar as we know, the area around present day Turkey was one of the areas where man first stopped being nomadic hunter/gatherers and settled down in one place - learning to modify his environment by growing and harvesting crops. So Your analogue with migrating birds and some mammals does not work. And if you are advocating a worldwide open borders policy - that is a utopian fantasy at this stage. Distinctive cultures have developed separately from others throughout the globe - and the more primitive ones now have a chance to learn from the more successful ones.
