Turkey and ISISReader comment on item: "Greater Syria" in the News Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Jun 16, 2014 at 08:57 Dr. Pipes In the flood of reports about the brutality of ISIS this article from Reuters news is very interesting http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/06/14/us-libya-turkey-consulate-idUSKBN0EP0KA20140614 Turkey pulls diplomats out of Benghazi, because of terrorism and urges nationals to leave Libya. However, in the same article we are told that ISIS seized the Turkish consulate in Mosul and 49 were taken hostage including the consul general. Also 80 Turkish citizens were taken hostage by ISIS and I suspect that most of them if not all were killed The leaders in Turkey seem to believe that they are immune from this cancer called Islamic terrorism but I suspect that Turkey will be their next destination Oh Iran? I believe that Iran is our natural ally because they have no illusions about Sunni terrorism Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
