Dear Daniel Pipes,

Although I appreciate your emphasis on Strategy, as opposed to Advocacy, I wish to emphasis that what you recognize as Mostly moralizing, seems to overlook what may be called Conceptual Confusion, or even Intellectual Dishonesty. I strongly urge you to find a way in which your Forum also address the "war of Words" ay which you know the Islamists often prevail.

Here is a good example of someone who address this issue - without Moralizing: "Israel is Engaged in a War of Words" by Varda Meyers Epstein http://www.algemeiner.com/2014/06/27/israel-is-engaged-in-a-war-of-words/

I don't believe it's effective to present Strategy without putting that Stategy in the appropriate conceptual (non-moralistic) framework.

Here are examples of what I mean.

1. Zionism is at least the Nationalism of the Jewish people, to which Jews, like kurds, or Turks, are also entitled to, with the Irredentist consequences.

2. Some of the Territories, relating to Israel, were Liberated (not "Occupied) from Egypt and Jordan.

3. What is Legal in International Law, is determined by the UN forum, where Arab and Muslim failed-states constitute a Majority agaist Israel.

4. Five years before the "Catastrophe" of 1948 (in 1943) the Bermuda Conference took place. Today, the non-Jewish world objects that Israel is "settling" outside of the "new" Pale of Settlement which is deemed the 1948 boundaries Israel; but who knows anything about the Bermuda Conference which effectively condemned the 6,000,000 Jews to death camp Showers which were really gas chambers:

Daniel Pipes replies:

I don't in the least dismiss advocacy. It's just that (1) plenty of others do this and (2) I am better suited for strategy.
