Livni A Useless IdiotReader comment on item: Admitting Israel's Unilateral Withdrawals from Lebanon and Gaza Were Mistakes Submitted by Dave (Canada), Aug 10, 2014 at 13:25 The fact that Livni is still in a decision making capacity in the Israeli government is troubling. This is the woman who, along with Condi Rice, negotiated UN Resolution 1701 in 2006, allegedly to prevent the rearming of Hezbollah. Since then, Hezbollah has obtained thousands more rockets as the UN has proven itself predictably useless at interdiction. She also was the official who caved in to Rice and gave up the Philadelphi Corridor, a move that enabled Hamas to smuggle tons of arms and building supplies. Add to all this her sterling role in the unilateral withdrawal from Gaza, a blunder she still stands behind. While Israelis like Livni have their heads in the clouds, Hamas is busy digging under their feet.
