What is "Western Civilization"?Reader comment on item: Admitting Israel's Unilateral Withdrawals from Lebanon and Gaza Were Mistakes Submitted by Michael S (United States), Aug 26, 2014 at 04:27 I see the term "Western Civilization" a lot lately, always as an entity that is somehow threatened by Islam. As far as I'm concerned, "Western Civilization" can go take a hike. It is opposed to the Bible, and always has been. I am a Bible believer. What part should I have with homosexual marriage, banning capital punishment, the promotion of promiscuity and adultery and curbs on the free exercise of religion? If the Muslims want to destroy this, I say, "Let them!". I dare say, their chances are not too good; but at least they might slow them down. Ultimately, the aim of "Western Civilization" is the destruction of both Christianity and Judaism.
