For fear of his life and limbReader comment on item: "The Hell of Israel Is Better than the Paradise of Arafat" Submitted by David Guy (Israel), Apr 21, 2005 at 02:34 Asim Ahmed's comments provide some interesting examples of civilized Arab countries. Not Jordan where most Palestinians actually live. Not the Palestinian Authority where Palestinians control day-to-day activitivities but 'Kuwait, Dubai, Lebanon'. Kuwait which expelled its Palestinian workers for aiding in its occupation by Kuwait. Dubai did it even though not occupied by anyone. In Lebanon Palestinians have been massacred in their refugee camps, by their Lebanese neighbours, particularly during the Civil War in which they were major players. In none of these civilized countries is it possible for a Palestinian to gain citizenship no matter how long their period of residence nor how valuable their contribution to the country. In Kuwait they don't even have enough rights to open businesses in their own names. Perhaps Asim could do a little survey among his Scottish (non-Arab?) campus associates to discover even one verified example of a legitimate Scottish tourist whose lives and limbs have been in any threatened on a trip to Israel. Hundred of thousands of tourists enter Israel each year. Clearly propaganda in Scotland about the danger is exaggerated. David Guy
