Bad Turkey?

I see Erdogan is a combination of both outrageous and extremely cunning. It is probably the most cunning s.o.b. i have seen or heard. He is mesmerizing to listen to, but liar to the bone as i have discovered to my dismay especially after Gezi and parallel state. BUT US has never in history intentionally pushed away an ally -Erdogan will never completely go rogue to be expelled from NATO, although sometimes his emotions betray him. US will only exit Incirlik from Turkey if Turkey expels it and i just don't see it happening. Which American president will risk detaching from Turkey and attaching to not yet formed Kurdish state. It is going to be difficult.
