No bread is thrown out, at last.

When I was on traineeship in Gamiat Sahra ganub Maadi (Helwan univesity) back in 2007 and 2008, in the compound basement I found a knee-high heap of gray bread thrown by Egyptian staff down the stairs. They got loads of rations for foreign students, cherry-picked the most yummy grub and threw everything else out. Now, I believe, they have to be more thrifty.
