Yazidis should try to reach Israel or IndiaReader comment on item: ISIS Justifies Its Yazidi Slaves Submitted by Prashant (United States), Oct 17, 2014 at 21:19 Dear Dr Pipes: I hope this pdf document that you cited in the article 'Isis Justifies Its Yazidi Slaves' is not true and it is created by some people who are even more deranged than ISIS. I am saying that I cannot believe that even ISIS can present the ideas like 'slave girl giving birth to her master' as shamelessly as this document does. And the presentation of verse 9-5 as a doctrine usable in a 21st century war as done in this pdf document is absolutely reprehensible. The biggest and most authentic opposition to ISIS will come from the Islamic world. It is just a matter of time. The Yazidis of Syria should not take the atrocities without resistance. They should die fighting or try to reach Israel or India. Israel is a decent and civilized country in that region. And in India we always welcome thousands of diverse opinions. Isn't the spiritual example of the Jew's exodus designed for exactly this kind of situations? Or Yazidi's should do exactly what Muhammad did when he shifted to Medina from Mecca. Make peace. Run. Regroup and, hopefully, return. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
