Do I detect a "West is best" philosophy here?

As an American, it's fair for us to speak for Europe as well; because we developed this thing called "Western Civilization" together. It is a civilization based on godless hedonism, wherein Westerners live in ease like Sodomites and Gomorhhites, fed continually by cheap goods made in thrid world sweatshops under unsafe conditions, and paid for by borrowed money.

Is that called "evolution"? I call it a big party, one for which the Almighty will soon present us a bill.
