CAIR Declared Terrorist; What About PLO?

Reader comment on item: Is CAIR a Terror Group?

Submitted by Richard H. Shulman (United States), Nov 28, 2014 at 21:21

Dr. Pipes,

This article has useful information. It encourages people to see the complexity of jihad.

Wasn't there an Iranian organization that had committed terrorism (mostly against the clerical regime), but years ago renounced terrorism, gave up its arms, and furnished useful intelligence to the U.S.? The U.S. still lists it as terrorist.

I find that the media calls Hamas a terrorist organization, but pretends that the PLO is not. Arafat invented terrorist skyjacking. As you know, Fatah, the main constituent body in the PLO is run by Arafat's #2 man, Abu Mazen, now head of the P.A.. So the P.A., which subsidizes terrorists and their families according to how egregious their terrorism is, really is terrorist. Who will label lit as such? Is there a way to overcome the false rationalization that the only problem is Hamas and not also the P.A.?
