Two comments:

1. It was refreshing to hear such views about religious reform. His comments seem congruent with your article.

2. It is amazing that this was not only on CNN, but on Amanpour's show. Other than the non-sequitur regarding Jerusalem at the end of the segment, this interview could almost be considered balanced journalism! (Either this is a sign of a new trend or a broken clock being right twice a day.)
