The amazing اسلام البحيري or Islam el-Biheri (also اسلام بحيري) and can Islam be reformed?Reader comment on item: Islam Bulldozes the Past Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Apr 12, 2015 at 11:17 Dr Pipes I agree with you that if Islam is to be reformed then it must come from within Islam and only by Muslims Here is an amazing young Muslim man from Egypt and he is a host for a TV program called القاهرة الناس (Cairo the people) and his name is Islam Biheri اسلام بحيري (also Islam al-Beheri اسلام البحيري) and he goes after Kutub al-Turath al-Islami the likes of al-Bukhari and he exposes the hate, war mongering, terrorism, rape, slavery and the irrational claims not just by al-Bukhari but also be the very revered Mufasereen and he does not spare anyone and no one is holy and watch this video and he is the host on a TV show in Cairo called القاهرة الناس or el-Qahira el-Nass https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7CIAO-OAfgM Amazing and just a few years ago this would not have been possible for any TV host in Egypt to say what Mr Biheri is saying. and he is an example of the people that our government should be supporting because the denial of our leadership that there is nothing wrong with Islam is a very flawed idea And here is his twitter feed https://twitter.com/islambehery And here is his wikipedia page http://www.wikipedia-who.com/2014/12/wikipedia-httpsar-ar.html And yes many pious Muslims do not like what he is saying but they seem to be listening and the fact that he is given a platform in the form of his TV program al-Qahira al-Nass speaks volumes for the subtle but significant changes in regard to Islam at least in the case of Egypt Would his efforts be enough to reform Islam or would orthodoxy wins as it seems to have been the case in Islam?
