Approach tenants with cautionReader comment on item: What Syrian Chemical Weapons Reveal about Obama Submitted by Michael S (United States), Jul 4, 2015 at 12:36 Hi, Tovey. I haven't seen posts from you in a long time. I just noticed this one. You made an interesting comment:
I have no idea what the "Oregon scenario" is all about; but I would like to know, since I live in Oregon. the only one on this forum who ever spoke (jokingly) about an 'Oregon Republic' was me. For the uninitiated readers, I might add that Oregonians for decades have thought of California as a separate country. There have also been occasional re-emergences over the years, of sentiment for a "State of Jefferson" consisting of the poorest counties of both states -- possibly to form an American version of Greece. Other than this, I don't know what you might mean about an "Oregon scenario". Is it Oregon's joining with Colorado and the rest of the Pacific Northwest in legalizing marijuana? Does that somehow fit in with the "chemical weapons" aspect of the OP? It got up to 101°F yesterday in the Upper Willamette Valley. In Phoenix and Fresno, that might sound like refrigerator temperature; but up here, it's been mighty uncomfortable. It's supposed to start cooling off today. Meanwhile, I've been trying desperately to shed some pounds. so I can fit into an airplane seat without breaking out the armrests. I thought of writing an autobiography, and calling it "The Care and Feeding of a Walrus". My wife responded that perhaps that should be the title of her autobiobraphy, seeing that she's been the one providing my care and feeding. That's the Oregon scenario, close to home. You made another interesting comment: All of the lesser skirmishes, starting from the Cairo 2009 pronouncement which led to the Arab uprisings, to the Tunisians, Egyptians, Libyans, Syrians, to the ISIS/ISIL/IS takeover of the vacuum left by the Ba'athists' collapses in Mesopotamia with the side bar of the Yemeni distraction coordinated by the Iranian Revolutionary leadership, all of which are building up to the crescendo of circumstances now appearing as we continue to meditate upon the surrealistic agreement of the Papal powers and the American Administrative Chief Executive, Cairo 2009's author. In cosmic terms, this is an alignment. What you wrote there certainly does look like cosmic writing. I counted 86 words in the first sentence. Diagramming it, the subject seems to be... there IS no subject, Tovey, nor any predicate! You've written a "sentence" composed entirely of subordinate clauses! The uninitiated, again, would have good reason to wonder at this, though I see it as the result of too much exposure to a KJV translation of Pauline Greek. Rearranging the grammar into a mix of Japanese and Inuit, I think you were saying that ___ indicates a cosmic alignment -- which, being translated, means a coincidence of significance, authored in heaven. I thought it was interesting that you listed as a major part of that cosmic coincidence, the "collapse of the Ba'athists". That means Saddam Hussein and Bashar al-Assad. The latter is still with us, protected from a Turkish attack by hydra-headed US policy. The former was overthrown in 2003. That seems to indicate that the "cosmic alignment" you mentioned, is ongoing and began perhaps on 9/11/2001. That was the beginning of the "War on Terror" that will probably be with us until Messiah comes; though the "Terror" has been morphing from the Muslims to the West. It's all in the Orwell's first letter to the Sheffieldians, and Daniel's letter to the Philiadelphians :-) The Turks keep threatening to invade Syria, a stepping-stone to Ezekiel 38, which I will repost here: Ezekiel 38: A look at a map of the Middle East in Ezekiel's time, shows that the "Land of Magog" is most likely Lydia, in what is now Turkey. Soon after Ezekiel died, the Iranians overran Turkey and the king of Lydia joined with them in an attack on Iraq. That was not the fulfillment of this prophecy, because Israel was not a nation at the time -- they were exiles in Iraq and Egypt; so we know the prophecy points to our times and the restored Zionist state. Another interesting news item, is the looming "Trade in Services Agreement", the secret details of which have just been revealed by Wikileaks. The TISA is part of a triumvirate of agreements (the others are the TPP and TPIP) which would put the US (well, the international capitalists who control the US) in command of an empire controlling well over half the world's wealth. That has nothing to do with the upcoming Islamic attack on Israel from Turkey, but it points to the final pre-Messianic battle of Zechariah 14 -- as well as Rev. 16: [13] And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. and Rev. 19: [17] And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; The attacking coalition in this case is led by the "beast" -- the US-led consortium. It won't come for a while -- the Turkish attack will come first; but before that happens, Turkey and Iran have to reconcile with one another. You've seen me posting this many times before; I just did it for the sake of new readers. If you live in Oregon, keep cool: the "cold front" that's expected to come through will only drop temperatures around 8 degrees, and briefly at that. Meanwhile, a 70-year-old tenant near where I live killed his property manager rather than comply with eviction. He later killed himself. If you have tenants, approach them with caution -- at least, until it cools down a little. Shalom shalom :-)
