The time is 2/7 to Doomsday?

I agree that things are moving along rather quickly; and that the end-times prophesies are both being fulfilled and becoming clear to more and more people.

I was reading about the four horsemen with my brother-in-law a few days ago, someone I have talked with very little about religion; and he thought it was rather obvious that the red horse, which "took peace from the earth", represented the Cold War. If you'll grant that the Colonial period that ended with WWII was the first horse (the white one), then we are now in at least the red horse period and perhaps the next, the "black horse" one. That's the one whose rider had the scales in his hand, when it was said,

"A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine"

That saying doesn't mean much without having some insight into what a penny and a "measure" were worth in King James' and in John's time. The concesnsus I've read, is that it meant a common man would have to work full-time just to keep fed, and the rich would be untouched -- a state which my brother-in-law agreed seemed eerily like our own time.

The biggest revelation I've had in all this, in recent months, is realizing that the seals, trumpets and vials are contemporary with each other: The seal is the revelation, the trumpet the announcement and the vial the plague. Another fairly important revelation, is realizing that what is written in Revelation isn's what people in OUR times see around us, but what JOHN saw in the vision. The Bikini nuclear test series, for instance, did not produce many casualties, wo we might think that "sign" was insignificant. For John to see that blast in a vision in 95 AD, though, would have been absolutely astounding! That is why I think the Bikini blast could have been the "great mountain burning with fire" of Rev. 8:9, and thus a signal or "trumpet" of the Red Horse period.

The trumpeting announcement of the third, "Black Horse" period is Wormwood. Again, we need to try to see this as something JOHN saw, not necessarily how it will appear to us. When John saw stars falling from heaven, this was a visual hieroglyphic of a judgment beginning with some struggle in the spiritual realm and playing itself out on earth -- like the casting of Satan and his allies out of heaven by "Michael" the angel (who I think is a representation of Messiah). Other than the "star" part of that prophecy, the signs seem to match the Chernobyl disaster of 1986 -- around the time of the end of the "Cold War" period and the beginning of the "Islamist Wars" period.

The "vial" of this third period is the rivers and fountains becoming "blood". Which "rivers" and "fountains" are referred to here? All of them, all over the earth? Those in Israel? the great rivers of the Bible in Syria-Iraq and Egypt-Sudan? This isn't an "announcing" trumpet, but the very plague that is announced. Because this is accompanied by the angel saying that the ones being forced to drink the bloody water were those who had "shed the blood of saints and prophets", I suspect this would refer to rivers in Israel -- something that hasn't happened yet.

The sun scorching men with fire and great heat, the plague of the "chlorine" horse, would seem to be some sort of sudden outbreak of climate change. The past summer was already phenomenal in the number of hot days and corresponding forest fires, so it seems we are seemingly heading into "fourth horse" times; but we still haven't seen the rivers turning to blood, so we seem to still be in the "Black Horse" period, 2/7 of the way to Armageddon. 1986-1946 is 40 years; so five more signs would come to 200 years. If the duration were 7 years instead of 40, that would be 35 years. That would put it around 2050-2215; but because Jesus said the day will come "like a thief in the night", unexpectedly, I favor the earlier date. The mortality tables say I'll be dead by then -- part of the heavenly contingent. We'll see, when the time comes.

These certainly seem like times to repent, wake up and get their lives in order; because the Judge is on his way.
