historical comparisonsReader comment on item: The Danger of Partial No-go Zones to Europe Submitted by Alan White (United States), Jan 4, 2016 at 21:51 Yes, there important parallels which need to be recognized. Indeed, Mein Kampf, Marxs' Communist Manifesto and ISIS reading of the Quran all play a significant role these movements, but without Lenin, Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot and the like they would probably not have produced the slaughter they eventually did. Or do killers always come out of the woodwork to take advantage of the situation? Something one hopes MAY have been learned in the past century is that attempts to compromise with supremacist ideology is useless. But I doubt this is true of the present generation who may have to learn the lesson of the last 85 years all over again.
