Maybe Trump and PEGIDA have a point

Hearing of the mass sexual assaults in Europe at New Year's, I've reached the unhappy conclusion that maybe Trump and PEGIDA have a point. This is from someone who admits that in his travels and sojournings, he has had pleasant and kindly interactions with Muslims.

Europe and the Americas don't need any more Muslim migrants. I read a media piece about how the refugee women themselves are forgotten victims of sexual assault in overcrowded and unsanitary camps. My conclusion is that if these young hoods don't respect the wives, mothers, sisters, cousins, classmates, aunts, neighbors, whoever from among their own people, they sure aren't going to respect people whom Islam has long regarded as legitimate prey and potential "possession of the right hand" from the Dar-al-Harb.

Open the door to religious minorities and apostates from Islam. The rest of those strapping young guys, if they're really so opposed to Da'esh, ought to go back and sign up for Hafez al-Assad's army to fight them.

I myself have lived as a stranger in a strange land (an English teacher) outside officially protected cocoons. One of the first rules of thumb and common sense rules to follow in such a situation is to respect your host country's womenfolk. Maybe that's why I found my wife of decades from the country of my sojourning. If these Arabs, Kurds, and North Africans can't behave themselves in Europe, they ought to be rounded up and thrown out--even shot if they resist; beginning with their imams, mullahs, and 'ulema.

For the first time in my life, I find my sympathy for those seeking to escape from a harsh government (苛政猛于虎也--a harsh government is worse than a tiger, as the Li Ji says) strained to the point of breaking.
