It's about Democracy vs. Corruption and OligarchyReader comment on item: Why Chris Christie Will Never Be President of the United States Submitted by Michael S (United States), Apr 4, 2016 at 07:47 Hi, Mike You said, "[If Donald Trump is nominated], it'll be much harder, and I will have more worry and less hope about our future, as the two Trump promises on immigration and a Muslim Pause will not get the same push from anyone." You and I don't have a crystal ball, telling us how the election will turn out. In fact, neither of us knows whether we will be alive at the end of this day. If that latter thing happens, I want to make sure I'll be going to the right place when I go; and to hell with what others think. Here's how I decided to vote for "The Donald": Some 7 months ago, I started following the Republican Nomination process. The front runners then were Donald Trump, with Ben Carson climbing up from second. Everyone else was trailing at around 0 to 8%, because hardly any Republicans wanted them. Every day, I watched the Public Television news, to watch unanimous clucks and snickers whenever Mr. Trump's name was mentioned. The betting odds were overwhelmingly in favor of Jeb Bush, who had raised more money from the filthy rich, and was endorsed by every low-life, broken-promise, do-nothing-good Republican in Congress. At that time, he had gotten more than ten times as much money as any other candidate, whereas Trump got nothing and was staking his personal fortune on his candidacy. Every night, the betting odds stayed the same, the TV commentators and anchors snickered and clucked; and every night, Donald's popularity increased, while Bush's popularity and his family and his endorsements and his millions upon millions of dollars from the second-sleaziest people in the world (Hillary got the sleaziest) began his slide from 8% to 5% to oblivion. Then the snickers began to turn to gross misrepresentations (such as those about illegal immigration and the Migrant crisis ravaging Europe), then blatant lies and jokes, and then viscious attacks. Meanwhile, his numbers continued to grow, because, unknown to those Left-Wing and RINO newscasters, the people loved Donald and despised Bush, Rubio and the whole host of puppets of the filthy rich. Way back last summer, as I began following these things, I read an article that unashamedly proclaimed that US elections are not won by the primary election votes, nor by the polls: They are won by the candidate with the most money and the most endorsements; and the writer of the article was putting his vote with them. He said, he literally, baldfacedly said, that votes and polls meant virtually nothing; and that money and favors meant everything. The ones they ignored, and the ones who have persisted despite being labeled as "ignoramuses", were the rank-and-file voters. When the anti-Trump establishment began posting naked pictures of Donald's wife on the Internet. I knew they were getting close to rock bottom. We'll see who wins this thing: THEM or the voters. We'll choose between our fellow rank-and-file Republicans, and the people who have been ravaging our country for a generation. Then, when the convention is over, we'll take on that Liar of Liars, Hillary Clinton; and America will decide according to their conscience. It's about doing what is right: of choosing democracy or choosing corruption and oligarchy; it's that simple.
