The dark side of Dubai

Excellent point about leaving Dubai alone Dr Pipes. I think for now it is best to enjoy the pleasures of Dubai and recognize that every place does not need to be like the West in every way. The disturbing part though is how the UAE mistreats poor workers from South Asia. There was an article several years ago that documented many disturbing aspects of Dubai (see link below). I think its a sad situation when we think of Dubai as a net positive relative to the rest of the (barbaric) Middle East.
