Notice no one seems to see any burning need for a zillion dollar university center for Hindu-Christian understanding. Or a center for Buddhist-Christian understanding. Or Baha'i-Christian understanding.
Why is Islam the only religion that seems to need university departments for some nebulous "understanding" between themselves and others? Why doesn't the Dalai Lama see the need to open up a few centers so he can be understood too?
Could it be the Dalai Lama's behavior aligns with his words? That makes him pretty easy to understand, even without an army of professors to help us.
