Turkey is making military and political moves into Syria and Iraq

Hi, Tovey. I've just had major surgery, so I have not been posting lately.

Concerning the upcoming election, I expect Hillary to win. If she serves a full four years, that will mean 32 years (1989-2021) of rule by three Harvard/Yale families, in the pocket of Goldman Sachs and other financial oligarchies. Many will welcome this, because it represents a more stable continuation of political and financial policies than a "Trump Revolution" offers. The underlying problems will continue to fester, though, so I expect 2020 to be a very interesting election year.

In Iraq-Syria, the most interesting news is that Turkey not only has troops and tanks on the ground there, but has now claimed northern Iraq and Syria as Turkish territory:

I am now interested in seeing how Iran pursues this matter. As for Russia, they want a naval base at Tartus; beyond that, I cannot say.
