The real problem with respect to IslamReader comment on item: Islamist Violence Will Steer Europe's Destiny Submitted by Prashant (United States), Oct 30, 2016 at 01:50 Dear Dr Pipes, It is not said often or ever but the real problem with Islam on our planet is that most Islamic societies are theocracies. Our planet does not like non-democratic systems of governance like communism, fascism, and other dictatorships in non-Muslim countries but for some unknown reasons we do not question the right of Muslims to live-in and create Islamic theocracies. And that is a problem. When Muslims emigrate to non-Muslim countries they take democratic freedoms as their birth rights and shamelessly demand an increasing number of rights in these foreign lands but they do not mind when those same rights are conveniently denied to others in their own Islamic lands. This discrepancy is so absurd that we need to wonder why 7-billion logical human beings on the planet let it exist without questioning it. But time has now come that we question the right of Islamic countries to be a Islamic whatever. If a Muslim born and brought up in a 98% Islamic land reads the Bible and decides to become a Christian, there is no reason why he should automatically become a second class citizen. It is the duty of every right-thinking human being to demand that Muslim countries do not just become democracies but they ought to become secular-democracies. Until that happens, there will always be a question mark on Islamic nations and Muslim people to answer.
