The Brits and Europeans are like a dead tree

Epochal Elections?

A better way of putting it, is saying "Europe has been dead for some time, but nobody has had the sense or courtesy to say so.

We have woodpeckers and flickers on our property; and do you know what kind of trees they go to peck at? Yes, dead trees -- still standing, but dead. These trees are crawling with all kinds of tasty bugs and worms, just like Europe is crawling today with terrorists and unwanted migrants; and they will continue to crawl with them until the wind blows, and the dead tree topples over.

Thanks to American protection, Germany today has an empire (called the EU) that is as large as Hitler's; but its leaders are no Hitlers: They are imbesciles, with less common sense than Neville Chamberlain or Jimmy Carter -- yes, even than Barack Obama. NATO has been protecting them, but they haven't wanted to pay for the service. Instead, they want to create their own "EU-TO" with all the clout of the Vatican Guards. Germany today has 180,000 front-line personnel, plus 145,000 reserves. With these, they propose to hold off the Russians, with 770,000 active troops and 2 million reserves. Angela Merkel was born in East Germany, and knows how "sweet" it is to be ruled by the Russians; so she ought to know better. But she doesn't know better, the German people don't know better, and neither do their EU clients. Europe is a dreamland.

The UK voters had the sense to jump the EU/German ship while they still had a chance (though they have yet to commit themselves to the lifeboats). These "sensible" people, however, have less sense than their Continental neighbors. Consider this:

"Is the Royal Navy Obsolete?
December 5, 2016 • From theTrumpet.com

"The navy that brought us aircraft carriers with no planes is about to reach a new level of ridiculousness. The Royal Navy is about to become the navy with no missiles—meaning it could soon be beaten by every significant navy on the planet, and perhaps even by ships 100 years old..."

I just did some checking. If the whole Royal Navy, all SEVENTEEN warships, were to confront Portugal's three harpoon-missile-equipped frigates, the RN would go to the bottom of the sea. Just imagine, if they had to confront, say, the Spanish Armada!

The Brits have lost their minds, and the Euros (Germans) have lost their minds. Who will pick up what's left, after they completely collapse? The Turks?
