Extreme vetting good idea, poor practiceReader comment on item: Another Attempt at "Extreme Vetting" Submitted by Vivarto (Israel), Apr 5, 2017 at 02:45 Indeed individuals not countries should be banned. However your proposal has the obvious weakness that those who enter the country will LIE. If they are Muslims they present a danger. They may never become terrorists themselves, but they'll more likely than not, provide the milieu in which the terrorist can operate. All Muslims are the POTENTIAL terrorist, as long as they believe that Muhammad is a perfect example for others to follow. In the beginning they may be not dangerous because they don't know or care much about Muhammad. However as they start concentrating in Muslim neighborhoods they will soon start going to the mosques. In Mosques they'll learn about Muhammad and Allah and become jihadis or at least jihad supporters. The greater the concentration of Muslims the greater the radicalization. It is completely insane to let Muslim population increase to some 3 - 5 % is it is in Europe. If we do that, then will have the same problems as Europe.
