Thanks Mr. Prime Minister for your fortitude and courage.Reader comment on item: A Palestinian Victory at the Temple Mount Submitted by J Pfeffer (United States), Jul 26, 2017 at 10:25 Yes it's shocking, who would have thought that Prime Minister Netanyahu would cave in on this issue. I wonder if his "negotiation expert" friend Donald Trump or his "sage" 36 year old son in law had anything to do with it? An issue that had no practical implications to the average Arab, just raw symbolism reminding them that they are not defeated in their nationalistic ambitions. The Arab side turned the dials up to 10 on this issue so as to defend their right to do what they want on the Temple Mount including stashing weapons and conducting their Jihad from al Aksa Mosque. Israel after all only has sovereignty over all of Jerusalem and has at times said it will remain Israel's eternal Capital. What Netanyahu has taught the Arab side is that Israeli leaders fears the mob and that Western liberalism is willing to validate their "feelings" of victimhood at the drop of a hat. I would advise not to bet against seeing these antics repeat themselves in the near future over and over again, perhaps next time against house demolitions and or arresting terrorists in Area A. Clearly, the Arab's won this round. Thanks Mr. Prime Minister for your fortitude and courage.
