Monster Toddler Terrorizes UN

Reader comment on item: The United Nations Misplaces Israel's Capital City

Submitted by Dave (United States), Sep 13, 2017 at 08:04

If you've ever raised kids you know about the Terrible Twos. Toddlers are dealing with limits, and they don't like it. They tend to have fearful, uncontrollable fits of rage where they scream and throw things. They also operate under the illusion that they can always get their way and that everything they want is theirs ("Mine! Mine! Mine!"). Adults, exasperated and intimidated, are apt to soothe and appease them to get them to cool off - which they generally don't.

This is exactly what's happening at the UN, and in much of the world. The toddler is the OIC and its members. They are a big, spoiled, self-centered body of raging toddlers that everyone is vainly trying to placate. That's why you can't find an Israeli capital on a UN map, because it's "Mine!", or so they say.
